Comprehensive eye health check and vision assessment for the most comfortable eyewear.
Eye exams and eye health checks are crucial for ensuring you get the most suitable eyewear. Vision problems can arise from various causes, including refractive errors, eye diseases, or a combination of both.
At Better Vision Prestige, we understand the importance of thorough and accurate eye exams and health assessments. That's why we use the most advanced and comprehensive eye measurement equipment from Japan, including optometric instruments and specialized eye health and vision assessment programs.
We are offering a complimentary personalized eye exam and health check, consisting of 16 tests valued at 3,500 baht, from now until June 30, 2024.
Take care of your eyes today for better vision.

1. Visual Acuity Test
This initial test assesses the ability to see details of objects at both near and far distances. It determines how clearly the individual can see. The primary method used is having the person read from a Snellen chart, which displays letters or numbers arranged from large to small.
-
2. Preliminary Eye Measurement and Automatic Keratometry
This test involves using a computer-based autorefractor to measure refractive errors such as myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism. It also includes an assessment of the corneal curvature, measuring it 360 degrees to determine the degree of astigmatism. The results help in detailed analysis of vision in subsequent steps.
-
3. Detailed Visual Analysis
This advanced vision assessment uses Wavefront Aberrometry technology to provide a more precise analysis of visual abnormalities compared to traditional computer-based methods. It measures the corneal surface and pupil size in both low and normal light conditions, yielding highly accurate measurements, particularly for astigmatism. This ensures a more effective and detailed vision measurement process.
-
4. Examine the Clarity of the Eye's Optical Media
This test assesses the transparency of the eye's lens to screen for cataracts. Cataracts can deteriorate vision quality, and if the lens is significantly clouded, surgical removal of the affected lens may be recommended to address the issue before proceeding with eyewear.
-
5. Preliminary Evaluation of the Fovea
This screening is for individuals at risk of macular degeneration, a condition that may not show symptoms in its early stages but is a major cause of vision loss. It affects central vision while peripheral vision remains intact. Early detection is crucial for prevention and treatment.
-
6. Detailed Vision Measurement
Accurate and precise vision measurement is essential for creating sharp and comfortable eyewear. At Better Vision Prestige, we use world-class eye measurement equipment imported from Japan (Nidek Phoropter RT-6100). This advanced tool provides detailed analysis for the most accurate vision correction, accommodating up to 26.00 Diopters of myopia and hyperopia.
-
Assessment of Binocular Vision and Eye Coordination
This test measures the ability of both eyes to work together, including depth perception, distance estimation, and image size perception from both eyes. The results are used to analyze and address vision problems, ensuring the prescription and lenses are appropriately tailored for optimal visual performance.
-
8. Assessment of Eye Muscle Function and Strabismus
This test evaluates the coordination of the eye muscles in both eyes and addresses issues such as double vision caused by strabismus (eye misalignment) using prism lenses for correction.
-
9. Measurement of Intraocular Pressure, Angle, and Corneal Thickness
This test uses the advanced DNEye Scanner technology from Germany to measure the internal eye fluid pressure. It helps assess the risk of glaucoma or other inflammatory eye conditions that can alter normal intraocular pressure. Additionally, it evaluates the eye's angle and corneal thickness to provide a comprehensive assessment of eye health.
-
10. Measurement of Ocular Axial Length
Measuring the ocular axial length is particularly beneficial for children with myopia (nearsightedness). This tool analyzes the length of the eye and helps assess the risk and monitor the effectiveness of myopia control methods, such as special lenses designed to slow myopia progression. By controlling myopia, it can prevent rapid worsening of vision, reduce the need for thicker glasses in the future, and lower the risk of developing eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and retinal detachment.
-
11. Visual Field Testing*
This test screens for or confirms diseases that affect the visual field, assessing how well you can see in different areas of your peripheral vision.
-
12. Detailed Eye Health Examination: Anterior and Posterior Segments
This examination involves using a laser to create cross-sectional images of the optic nerve head, retina, and fovea. It includes capturing both 2D and 3D images of the retina, allowing for detailed analysis of its ten layers. This helps in detecting abnormalities such as retinal damage, swelling, or other pathological changes.
-
13. Anterior Eye Health Examination: Pterygium, Pinguecula, Cataracts, and Pupillary Response
This involves using a Slit Lamp, a specialized high-magnification microscope with various light beams, to inspect and evaluate the health of the anterior segment of the eye. It helps in detecting and assessing conditions such as pterygium, pinguecula, and cataracts, as well as examining the surrounding skin, eyelids, eyelashes, cornea, sclera, iris, and lens. The test also evaluates the pupillary response.
-
14. Personalized Eye Movement Behavior Assessment
This test uses the Zenos VR (Virtual Reality) system to measure eye movement behavior at different distances—far, intermediate, and near. The collected data is used to create lenses with optimal structure tailored to each individual, enhancing comfort in progressive lenses, high astigmatism prescriptions, or complex vision corrections.
-
15. Personalized Parameter and Eye Center Measurement
Since each individual's facial structure is unique, the angle and fit of eyewear can vary, affecting visual quality. At Better Vision Prestige, precise measurement of personalized parameters using the Invision Augmented Reality (AR) system ensures that eyewear is optimally comfortable and well-suited to the wearer’s facial structure, enhancing overall visual experience and fit.
